In this final post of summing up the phases of migration of a target cloud database, we now have validation. So now, everything is done and it’s time to validate the count of migrated object and also the data row counts. In addition, you also check the count of invalid objects.
If you have done all this, you have now completed all the five steps of migration.
Now, it comes to the point, which are the objects that you want/can migrate to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure(OCI).
These objects are,
- Tablespaces
- Schemas
- Pl/SQL Objects
- Tables/Partitioned Tables
- Pluggable Databases
- Non-container databases
You can choose all or selected objects from the list when it comes to migration.
