Confused About DataGuard, Issues With It, Share/Discuss/Get Clarifications At….


Data Guard forum at OTN forums! It just has come up and based on the discussion happened here, I believe its the fruit of the efforts done by the product manager of Data Guard Larry Carpenter who is also the lead author of Data Guard Handbook from Oracle Press! I am quite active over OTN forums and based on my experience over there, I can say with complete trust that alike other forums like Database General and many more, this would also help Oracle community immensely! Another bookmark added to my daily-visit sites :-) !

    Hey! I asked for that forum and they never told me it was created! I had to find out here :^) Thanks! I be watching it and answering it now. I have also taken all of your leads and have started Dr. Paranoid’s Data Guard blog but I still have to get into the hang of writing things there other than the welcome note! See, you can teach an old guy new tricks! Thanks!

    Your welcome :-) . Oh they didn’t tell you :-O? I hope and wish it becomes popular and really active! I guess it needs to be mentioned over the Database General forum that the queries about DG should be sent over the DG forum and not over the Database General forum! Otherwise people would be still posting the questions over DB general forum only!

    Yes yes yes, saw the blog and already have added it to the blog rolls and google reader as well :-) .
